Questions to answer before you purchase a Roomba vacuum
Even though most people could benefit from investing in a Roomba vacuum, the truth of the matter is some people are going to benefit from taking advantage of this automatic vacuuming technology more than others – and it’s important for you to know whether or not you will really be making the most of this (sometimes) significant investment.
Sure, there are cheaper robot vacuum options on the market today than a Roomba vacuum, but there is a reason that they are so much less expensive – they usually aren’t made as well, aren’t able to perform as solidly, and will almost always fail far sooner than a Roomba would.
At the same time, it’s worth asking these questions before you decide to purchase one of these robotic vacuums.
Shall we jump right in?
Let’s get right to it!
Just how much space do you have to vacuum, anyway?
If you are only looking to vacuum a few hundred square feet (maybe up to 1000 ft.² or so) of flooring, it may not make that much sense to purchase a new robotic vacuum to tackle the job.
This is a pretty small amount of vacuuming to take care of, and you probably won’t be able to take advantage of the time efficiencies that a new Roomba will bring to the table. Sure, you won’t ever have to vacuum again (and that may be reason enough to purchase one of these vacuum cleaners) – but you probably won’t be getting your “money’s worth”, either.
Is the expense of a robot vacuum counterbalanced by the time you’ll be able to save?
Because of these vacuum cleaners can’t get pretty expensive (right up around $700 or so for a brand-new one), it’s important to determine whether or not you are going to get as much “bang for your buck” as humanly possible.
Really think about how much time a truly automatic robot vacuum is going to save you, and then balance that against the upfront investment that you’re going to have to lay down to purchase one of these quality machines.
Most people will find that it makes all the sense in the world for them to boost forward with this investment, especially because they’ll never have to tackle vacuuming ever again! For some people, being able to never vacuum again is worth paying pretty much any price imaginable.
